Special Events
Make your next special event a memorable one by hosting it at Pinehurst Manor. Your
guests will marvel at the history and beauty of the Estate.
Over the last 120 years Pinehurst has been the backdrop for many
special occasions with prominent Canadians.
At the official opening of the Rosamond Memorial Hospital in May
1909, the Governor General of Canada, Earl Grey was the guest of
honour at a garden party held at Pinehurst. More recently Governor
General Adrieanne Clarkson was the guest of honour for a Gala in 2001.
We can accommodate small and large groups depending on your desires.
We have experience with intimate private parties serving fine dining to
outdoor receptions with bbq and dancing on the patio.
There is plenty of fun with a variety of activities. Hit some golf balls on
our 100 yard golf hole complete with professional tee deck and green
with 2 bunkers. If golf isn't your game then take a canoe or kayak tour
of the Mississippi River or even walk the falls right on the property.
We can even set up our volleyball court or if you have a smaller group
perhaps bocci ball. Walking trails are nearby and you have a choice of
a nature hike or the River Walk through downtown Almonte which
features many of the historical sites in town.
If you stay overnight have a campfire by the falls or play cards at our
custom made poker table in the library.
Give us a call and we can discuss your upcoming event and arrange
for a tour of the property.
It's easy to get here. Pinehurst Manor is located 35 minutes west of downtown
Ottawa and 20 minutes from ScotiaBank Place in Kanata. Far enough from the
city core to create a sense of "getting away", yet close enough to limit travel
time.
